Counselling for moms, teens, and families
Virtually across BC, and in-person in Qualicum Beach. Because everyone deserves someone in their corner.

Finding Your Path Forward
Whether you're seeking support for yourself or a loved one, therapy should meet you where you are, whether that's from your living room on a quiet afternoon, or face-to-face at our Qualicum Beach office. We create space for real conversations and practical solutions.
No judgment. No one-size-fits-all approaches. Just genuine support when you need it.
Hey! I’m Lindsey
Supporting moms & teens through the messy parts of life
(because we all need someone in our corner sometimes)
Hey Mama,
let's talk about what's really going on.
Because you deserve grace, especially when motherhood feels overwhelming.
You wake up exhausted, wondering if you're doing enough. The mental load feels crushing - from managing schedules to worrying about development milestones. Here's what you should know: those doubts don't define your parenting.
Our sessions provide:
Space to process parenting challenges without judgment
Practical strategies for family dynamics
Support for your mental wellbeing
Tools to rebuild confidence in your parenting decisions
Your space. Your story. Your voice.
Because sometimes you need someone who just listens, without trying to fix everything.
Feeling stuck between who everyone expects you to be and who you really are? Dealing with pressure from school, family, or friends? Sometimes you need someone who just listens - no lectures, no quick fixes.
What makes our sessions different:
You set the agenda - talk about what matters to you
Complete privacy - what's said here stays here
No pressure to 'fix' everything at once
Support that adapts to your needs, not the other way around
Cultivating Empathy, Creating Change
I believe in the transformative power of being truly heard and understood. My approach combines 13 years of professional experience with the everyday realities of parenting two young kids. I understand both the theory and the day-to-day dynamics of family life.
Creating spaces where authenticity leads and judgment stays at the door is at the heart of my work. Whether you're a parent navigating daily challenges or a young person seeking support, my background in school counseling and individual therapy allows me to address both personal growth and family dynamics.
I work with clients online across BC and in person from a wellness space in Qualicum Beach, whichever way helps you show up.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me throwing clay on the pottery wheel, jumping into the ocean for a cold plunge, or chasing my kids around the park.

Navigating Life's Challenges, Discovering Inner Strength
As a Canadian Certified Counsellor, I believe in the power of relationship and community connection above all else. My approach centers on the belief that you already have the answers within yourself. My role is to listen and help you uncover those solutions. With 15+ years of counselling experience and 27 years in education, I understand both the complexity of human challenges and the resilience we all possess.
Over the course of our lives, there are times when reaching out to a counsellor can be helpful, and finding the right fit is important. I enjoy working collaboratively with caregivers who are feeling stuck in their identity, overwhelmed with their new roles, or simply curious to unpack parts of themselves as they move through life transitions. I'm here to help you work towards a future of clarity, growth, and emotional well-being.
Outside of work, I find balance through mindfulness practices like yoga, hiking, and walking with my dog in the forest or along the beach, where I can recharge and reconnect with nature.

FAQ's
Get answers to common questions about counselling services, including virtual sessions, insurance coverage, and what to expect in your first appointment. We are here to help make your journey to support as clear as possible.
Both. Virtual sessions are available with Lindsey or Wendy and run on a secure video platform you can access from anywhere in BC. In-person sessions are available with Lindsey at a shared wellness space in Qualicum Beach. Sessions typically last 50–75 minutes either way.
Lindsey sees in-person clients at a quiet practitioner space inside Qualicum Beach Acupuncture. The space is hers alone during your session, so it feels like a private therapy office: calm, unhurried, and designed to let you settle in. The full address and arrival details come with your booking confirmation. Sessions run the same length and rate as virtual.
The amount of sessions depends on your unique needs and goals. While some clients achieve their desired outcomes in a few sessions, others may find ongoing support more beneficial. We will regularly assess your progress and tailor the treatment plan to best support your journey.
The first session is about getting to know each other, understanding your goals, and creating a plan for moving forward.
We take a holistic, person-centered, trauma-informed approach, drawing from different modalities to support growth and healing.
Sessions start at $150, and we offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those facing financial challenges.
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of counselling, and your privacy is a top priority. All sessions are kept confidential, within the limits of the law. Exceptions to confidentiality may include situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
You can schedule a session with Lindsey or Wendy via our booking platform. Free 20-minute consultations are available to see if we’re a good fit.
